I do take the point. with no pressure, we'd just happily glide around, check emails, have a cuppa, think worthy thoughts about how brilliantly we could build a new website, plan a fantastic architecture. At some point before it's too late you've just got to plough into it. Without the deadline the ploughing would never happen.
This is why I always thank project delivery guys who tell me to pull my finger out and get something done...
