It was at the summit and was held right after the welcome event Tuesday night.

Kathi,
Thanks for clarifying that. I had already signed up for PASS but did not receive any info about the party. Now I know, it will be when you actually get there and register. Boy, are we (my husband and I) on a time crunch that day. We don't get in until late Tuesday and the party is that night. I'm getting nervous. Maybe I need a flow chart.
All the best,
Dale

I haven't really heard if it is the same day/time as last year. You could ask Steve. I will definately look for you at the party.

Well, Steve did say the party was Tuesday night. However, WE NEED YOUR HELP HERE STEVE! If you are listening, and I know you are, would you PLEASE, PLEASE, help us fledglings out? Please fill in the following party invitation options:
Where the heck is the party?
When is it (i.e., Tuesday)?
What time is it?
What are the details of the party (i.e., gambling fun)?
How the heck do we get in (registration, spouses, etc.)?
Clothing optional? (Ha! Ha! Just checking to see if you were reading this!)
All the best,
Dale

I don't know where the party is as PASS is still organizing things with the Gaylord. It willl be Tues immediately after the opening reception from PASS. I think it will start around 7:30.
The party will be catered by the Gaylord with a cash bar and appetizers and there will be a number of casino games setup by Aaron's Casino's of Dallas. Everyone using the registration source code will get a ticket with their badges at registration. We'll hand out books and shirts then as well.
As far as spouses, I'm not sure. I think PASS has some type of guest registration for a few of the events. I'll ask them.

Clothing optional? (Ha! Ha! Just checking to see if you were reading this!.........
if that didn't catch anyone's eye nothing will..
request favour from someone/anyone willing to do this for us (PASS-deprived lot)...since PASS is going to be a vicarious experience at best - we'd love to see some pictures, hear some funny stories, transcripts from some of the presentations - many of you know each other well through this site but will be meeting for the first time - so how about some first impression narratives from some of the authors on this site etc..

Sushila,
Haven't you ever heard the saying, "What happens in Dallas, stays in Dallas!" Or was that Vegas?

Dale

Oh No Dale - I was hoping you hadn't heard of it!
at any rate - please be nice...I promise not to delve too deep if anything even remotely smacks of nefarious...besides, you sound like you need to be rescued from yourself...remember that I'm on standby for any such assistance if needed...

"...you sound like you need to be rescued from yourself"
Sushila, ain't that the truth! I been swinging 3 jobs for many, many months now! I need some R&R! Too much work! Tomorrow is another 10 - 12 hr day!
I finally got the hint tonight when my 14 month old Silky Terrier carried in a fresh new roll of Charmin toilet tissue into my home office tonight and started dutifully chewing it up underneath my noise as if to say, "Pay some DARN attention to me!" I knew then that enough was enough.
I can't wait 'til the day that I can say, "Auntie Em - there's no place like home!"
All the best,
Dale

Not to sound like Heloise...oh wait...I think I mean Dr. Phil..
Dale - "the silky terrier has spoken" - pay heed and don't wait for PASS until the much needed R&R - otherwise the pressure of working round the clock like this might just make you run amok at the summit and have you drinking champagne out of slippers or worse still...springing out of cakes...
you definitely sound like you should unwind a little before you go...else you'll be spinning like a top!
I'm now pinning all my hopes on Steve to give us the breaking news each day along with pictures and all....he's got the writing bug "bad" & I know he won't be able to resist a good story...splly. if it involves SSC or any of its' members!

I think we can probably start a thread so all of us attending PASS can give daily updates. Steve will probably give the "official" updates like he did for a previous conference he attended.

Hi All,
I'll be flying in (DFW) on Friday 23rd, and out again back to the UK on Monday 3rd. So if anyone is looking at some "weekend entertainment" either side of the conference, please drop me a mail. The baseball and the hockey look good.
Chris.
