That's too bad. We can definately hang out before then. When are you arriving? I really wish you could be there Friday. The last two years they had a panel discussion at lunch on Friday about women in technology.

Kathi,
Will you be going to the http://www.sqlservercentral.com party on Tuesday night? Maybe, we can say "Hello" then.
By the way, I love your articles too. Very articulate and I truly respect any woman that can break into SQL. At least most of the authors around here are on the up and up. I won't mention names.
All the best,
Dale

I will be there for the party. Wouldn't miss a chance to meet other SSC members.

Great!!!!! See you there!!!!! I think the gambling thing will be a blast! I think if I can stick to Black Jack and Poker, I'll have a half ways decent chance. Not sure about the hubby. He has yet to win the Florida Lottery although he's been playing for 15 years.
All the best,
Dale

I get there Monday afternoon and leave on Saturday. I know SSC throws a party, but I haven't seen them mention anything about PASS-2005 yet.

Not mention anything!!?!!?
It's been in a few editorials and a few ads. Register with the source code of "SSC".

I'll have to relook Steve. The only thing I've seen was an announcement that it was happening, with the dates and a request that we use SSC. However, I had already submitted my paperwork before the message about using SSC came out.
I haven't seen anything about a SQLServerCentral party that people have been mentioning....so I'll look over the site again and see if I can find it.

My apologies Steve....I went back quite a ways in the articles and found "The Last Day to Save". And that discussed PASS and the SQLServerCentral party.

SQLBill,
You are right about the party. It's really not outlined anywhere as in an invitation (i.e., Time, Date, Place, etc.) It does talk about the gambling, etc. I was really interested to know about taking the spouse without having to pay $125 to PASS.
All the best,
Dale

I'm undecided ...... I was going to go, but our company's in "cost saving" mode .... so I thought I'd do my part & skip it

Last year, I received a ticket for the SSC party when I registered.

Clarification: The registration at the Summit.

Was the party also at the summit or other location?
Sounds like a great way to let off some steam
