Who offers the best suit of utilities for sql server?

    Looking for compressed backups, performance monitors, comparison tools, log readers, etc.

     

    I've heard good things about RedGate and ApexSQL, but wondered if there were any others I should be looking at?

    Idera has a solution as well.  I currently only use Diagnostic Manager, and really like it.  there are a number of other tools that are good as well with in there
