Wow, I used to do these types of puzzles for hours as a kid. (I'm about to date myself) I'd whip out Lotus 123 and plod away in a grid layout with x's and dashs.
So, my first inclination (don't laugh) was excel.
I must go back and try a SQL solution now...

So did Steve ever post *his* solution on here?
I would like to see what he gives as the "correct" answer.

My final solution was like this one:
Sue Andy Brian Steve Kevin
Blue Yellow Red Green White
Corvette Accord Prius Caravan Suburban
Beer Iced Tea Red Bull Coffee Mountain Dew
17 LCD Dual 15s 15 CRT 17 CRT 15 LCD
I realized later that there were a couple solutions. I'll work on another one and see if I can get it down to just one solution

Just getting to some back copies of SQLServerCentral.com.
Very easy question - - it is me! And yes, all the "losers" with only dual 17 monitors are jealous . . .

I Used the assumption that the 1st office is on the left, so Andy, the ice tea drinking, accord driving, yellow office worker has the dual 19 inchers!
