Good afternoon everyone,
I've been using SS2005 for about two years, mainly on the business intelligence side of things.
My employer wants me to gain some sort of a recognised qualification with SS2005 and/or Reporting Services but I don't know the best place to start. Eventually I would like to become MCDBA or MCTS.
Should I start from the ground up with some of the Windows Desktop/Server administration/implementation exams or should I plunge straight in and give some the SQL Server specific exams a go, although from what I hear they're quite brutal?
Like I say I have good experience with BI and T-SQL along with using SSMS/SSIS etc, plus I have some very basic generic IT certification with CompTIA A+ and N+, could someone point me in the right direction please?
Thanks & best regards,
Chris
PS I did look for a Newbies section to introduce myself but couldn't find one. I hope nobody is upset by my jumping in and asking a question as my first post.

if your using sql2005 in a mainly BI role start with the MCTS 70-445: BI Implementation & Maintenance
