Which RSS News Feed Aggegator do you use?

  • I've been trying out the various ones for Firefox and all of them leave a bit to be desired for what I want. Used to use Thunderbird, but that got tedious. What does everyone use?

  • I like sage (plugin for Firefox) but I don't have much to compare it to.

I like pluck - the folder set up is good and it's a web app.

I friend spoke really highly of a Trillian addon - you need to buy the upgrade, it isn't free.

  • I use SharpReader (http://www.sharpreader.net/index.html) It's a standalone app. It has occational problems with the corperate firewall/proxy, but nothing serious.

  • Brian, check out http://www.rssbandit.org/ It's now an Open Source project using the .Net framework. Like Sharpreader it is mentioned here http://www.microsoft.com/communities/guide/rss.mspx

Latest version of RSSBandit also allows NNTP access, so you don't have to deal with OE anymore.

  • I'll check out both Sharpreader and RSSBandit. As for Sage within Firefox, tried it and wasn't all that satisfied. I'm using Wizz RSS right now and while I like it better than Sage, I'm not sold on it.
