Ok. im preparing for the 70-431 exam for a few months now. i have the microsoft book on the 70-431 exam, complete with practice tests. i have access to measure up, and also self test exams located here: http://online.selftestsoftware.com/choose_mode.aspx
i have read the book, done some of the examples, and spent hours at all the exams, learning when i get wrong answers, but i find i can only get about 70-75% and if i do the tests too much i memorize them ( not on purpose) so they are useless for learning. which of these exams are the best ( if you have used them) and what other methods have you used to prepare for the exams?

Winston,
First of all good luck with this one. I took the 431, 441, 443, and 444 and this was the hardest one to me. It's two parts, one multiple choice, one practical, which I like. However it can be hard. The practical gives you a working subset of SSMS and you need to actually accomplish tasks (add something, delete something, etc). I'd highly recommend you spend lots of time with SSMS doing different tasks. Even scan the admin forums here and do some of the things people ask about. Add users, change security, search for objects, etc. That is a big part.
The mult choice part was a lot of admin type stuff, especially in the perf area for me. I'd just do through the book and be sure I understand the concepts. No case studies, so you need to really know the information to infer what the answer is from those choices.
Again, good luck with this one and if you've studied hard, you should be in good shape.
