I want to place a Windows Server 2008R2 server at an ISP.
Main purpose:
Web site hosting, only a few websites, very low volume.
Web sites talk to SQL server DBs, none very large 4-6Gb tops.
No logged in users to Windows server other than RDP for admin.
SQL Server minimum function although would like to investigate log shipping or some other technique for backup to another machine.
Need the cheapest combination of the two.
Is it SBS 2011?
Is it Window server 2008R2 Web Edition + SSQL Server 2008R2 Web Edition or maybe standard (Web edition is over $3000!!) or maybe even workgroup.
If it's not a simple question, and I don't think it is, then maybe some links for summarized reading would help.
Appreciate.

take a look at this URL http://www.microsoft.com/sqlserver/en/us/product-info/compare.aspx, it has the feature comparisions for all version of SQL2008 which should help you choose the right product for you.
You could try SBS2011, unsure on this though as I have never used it, but as it was released after 2008 there might be some compatability issues.
