    I'm kind of hoping this becomes the new thread.

    Ah, all becomes clear. The thread wanted a companion, so it inserted itself between some spam threads to fool Steve into deleting temporarily it so that a new thread would be born.

    Sounds like the servers at SQL Server Central has evolved into HAL (from: 2001 A Space Odyssey).
