The only thing is The Thread was the only place where I could find all the parameters to DBCC Timewarp listed - now I stuffed.

There are naive questions, tedious questions, ill-phrased questions, questions put after inadequate self-criticism. But every question is a cry to understand (the world). There is no such thing as a dumb question. β Carl Sagan

I remember something about envelopes and transition.
But the swallows are flapping their wings so loudly, I'm having a hard time thinking.
At least I am not hungry - BBQ ribs took care of that.
Hopefully Steve uses the correct parameter and time to restore.
Although if it is restored to the future, the crystal ball is fixed.

Steve said on Twitter that it should be fixed today.

There are some other topics missing, some points also went missing, all happened more or less at the same time.π
Iek, now that you mentioned it, I lost about 2,000 points...
Same here. Front page tells me that I've gained -2906 points in the last 30 days...
Me too. But not in your league, I've gained -995 points.

I lost points, but the sad part about The Thread being gone is that I have a picture of my friend's smoker to post. π

Why not post it here. Maybe look at this as the kind of temporary bar you go to while your local pub is being refurbished.

"The Thread" was growing too fast and was affecting the future. Future DBA hit squads used DBCC Timewarp to travel back in time and eradicated the menace, thus making SQL Server safe for future generations of DBAs.

I was wondering why I only had 7 emails from The Thread this morning after not looking all weekend.
I also lost 1093 points. I wonder if that is the # of posts in The Thread?:w00t:

I too went backwards.
Steve told me they were working on getting that thread and a few others recovered.

I guess there was too much talk about Bbq in the thread and it just walked away. Or it was highjacked by a vegetarian action group.

I hope they weren't involved. It's hard to get to the meat of the matter when vegan activists get involved. π
