Is anybody else having problems accessing the Thread? If I try to view it I get an error message saying it may have been removed or I may not have permission to view it.

I have the same issue for thread "Are the posted questions getting worse". I also don't find the thread in the list anymore.

It's been like that since at least 49 37 hours ago (a bit after 9 GMT saturday evening).
It looks as if the thread has been deleted.

I was worried my membership had been revoked and there was something somebody wasn't telling me!

Let's hope that they have a good backup if that is the case 😀

There are naive questions, tedious questions, ill-phrased questions, questions put after inadequate self-criticism. But every question is a cry to understand (the world). There is no such thing as a dumb question. ― Carl Sagan

It will be a very sad moment for SSC if the thread is lost forever...

There would have to be some kind of memorial service.
I'd love to be a fly on the wall for the conversation when somebody explained that it wasn't backed up...

The Thread has a lot of history in it. I PMed Steve about it on Saturday and a few people really narrowed the time of deletion. He said it might take a couple of days, but recovery should be possible. So, we shouldn't plan the memorial service just yet.
