Hi. I am running SQL 2005 SP2. SQL hosts a single database (third party ERP application). The SQL server is pretty good spec (2 * Xeon Quad Core E5345 + 8GB RAM - 10k SAS drives) and has been configured optimally for SQL
Users have reported latency issues when requesting features within the ERP application. I would like to monitor using profiler. I am convinced the issue lies with a poorly coded stored procedure or procedures :). Can anyone offer advice on where to begin and what I should be looking for (i.e. how to interpret the results)?
Kind Regards,
Phil.

I also offer full server quick health check if you think that can help.
Good luck.
Edit : Happy hunting. Has nothing to do with luck!

Thanks for the links, I will take a look. Great response time (unlike the application 🙂 )

Usually just as fast to find / fix the issue, but that's another story :hehe:.
