Ok....
Tranactional Repl:
Does a subscriber delete it's default value or bindings when created or dropped? or is it somethng else
I have a getdate() and a couple other default values set in a table, but they are gone after a subscription created/or dropped.
My publisher retains it's default values.
is this normal?
Messes up mt timestamp if it is.

You need to set "Copy default value specification" to TRUE
This parameter is FALSE by default.

I'll rephrase this question:
I altered a Article Property setting of an existing publication.
I rerun the Snapshot agent.
However, the replication to the subscriber seems to have stopped working . Is there a timed delay in this step?
This happens anytime I change a publication setting
I have to drop the subscription and recreate to get it to work.
Should it restart automatically?
Am I missing another agent?
I sill say that I log onto SQL server with a SQL account to create and modify tables and publications, but the distributor, db_owner, and others are run under a different windows account. Would that have any thing to do with it?
