Where is the error?

    Hi all,

    I'm new to SSIS, so I'm sorry if the question is very basic. I am having a hard time finding the error generated when I execute my package. The package fails in the CDC Source in the Data Flow. But I don't see any errors anywhere. Here's a screenshot of what I see in SQL Server Data Tools:

    What does BIDS tell you when you float the mouse pointer over the RED X?

    By the way, the picture really doesn't tell us anything.

    Hi Lynn, I tried putting the mouse on the X and it doesn't show any popups. As the picture shows, there are no errors listed in the Error List window below either. What do seasoned SSIS developers do to debug in this situation?

    I added a breakpoint on the CDC Source and looked at the Watch window...nothing there. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    I also set everything on the Error Output window to Ignore Failure and the execution still fails on the CDC Source task. 🙁

    Click on the Progress tab. What does it say there?
