where can I find the build 2050 for sqlserver 2000?

  • hi I read the article it says :

"If the "Backup Build" is larger than the "SQL Server Build," install all the necessary service packs or hotfix builds to roll the server software forward to the "Backup Build" that was determined previously."

this is my case ... my backup build is 2050 and my SQL server build is 2039 .

I have installed SP4 so what other 'hotfix builds' the article is talking about that I can apply ? where can I download them for SQLserver 2000? I searched the MS site and all I got was one 'cumulative hotfix' which takes the build number to 2187.

  • Check out this link. It appears you want to be at 2000 (GDR) SP4+Q941203 / 948110 and you may have to go through PSS to get to that exact level.
