    If anyone can beat that building I'll be amazed. That has got to be the oddest thing I've ever seen. Even weirder than the crappy new Hilton they built in Manchester (UK) that looks like it was designed by a kid playing with Lego.

    I wonder what is it like to work in some of these odd buildings. I used to work in the one that they used for 'Life on Mars' None of the interiors were filmed in that!

  • When I was working at CRS on Dantzic Street they were filming Cracker in the old Maxwell House building before it was turned into The Printworks. Never saw Robbie Coltrane though πŸ™‚

    OMG! I did. I cannot believe that. How on earth did they get planning permission?????

    It's brings some tourist $$ into the area. That would be my guess.

    Do people travel just to see it? Really silly question....what's in the handles?

    Not sure what is in the handles, but they weigh 150 tons and are heated.
