He he! So am I, but I have been to the Pulpit Rock and crawled to the tip to look down. It was horrible. I felt that gravity tried to pull me off the cliff! I quickly crawled back to safety.
I get dizzy just by watching this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNpsPYeX7dg

Good Lord Tom, I'd always crossed Lanzarote right off my potential places to visit list because of the British tourism.
There's a lot of anti-British propaganda around. Don't let it put you off a decent holiday!

... and I am writing from Czech Republic. Also for anyone who's geography a little weak - this is a country somewhere in the middle of Europe. Several years before (now it will be 21y - time is changing so quickly!) there was communists, iron curtain, russian soldiers, censured newspapers, no possible trips to 'western' countries, no foreign language intelligence, no computer intelligence etc.
Fortunately these times are gone and now there is not so big difference between Czech Rep. and any other European countries.

Yes ... if I remember well 🙂 at 17 November 1989 there was big demonstration in Praha and several days after I was standing at main square in Pilsen and demonstrate for 'Free Czechoslovakia, without communist supremacy ..!' .. and from 1st January 1993 there are two separate states - Czech and Slovak republics.

My mother's family came to the US from Bohemia, a kingdom in what is now the Czech Republic (I don't think it was in Slovakia), in the mid 1800's. Near where she grew up is a town called 'Pilsen'.
