When did the tempdb perform a checkpoint?

    Is this value or action stored anywhere?

    In an effort to track down a weird occurrence on our systems, i'd like to see the last time that tempdb was checkpointed, to see if that action occurred at the same time as some other problems.

    I'm just not sure if that action is logged somewhere, and if so, where i can find it.

    I believe by default you cannot get this information but in the future I think you can use Trace Flags 3502 which logs a message to the SQL Error log at the start and end of each checkpoint
