Whats the use of Probe Login In SQL 6.5?

  Could anyone let me know what's the use of system login 'Probe' ? How about if I remove it from the system ? any impacts ?

  Boy it's been awhile. I think this was some system account for remote linked server type activity. I remember it being a little of a security hole.
