Ha, hardly, lots of complaints about this, but with regulation all over the world (not-US), MS is pretty careful what comes back. It's more this is instrumentation to understand what features are in use and how often. Redgate does this, as do many companies, to understand if something they've built and need to support is important.
There is always more work than resources, and having a way to help triage importance of bugs and requests is valuable.
