What the Best way to secure down the user account in SQL Server 2003 and Windows 2003?

  • Hi, I have a question on Securing the SQL Server 2005. I am using the Windows Account to log in to my SQL Server. I have disable my SA account as well. In my computer system I have a user called sync and I give that user a Admin rights. In my SQL Server I add that user into the login for example HK\sync and that user has sysadmin. What is the best way on securing the account for my sync user?

  • Not sure I understand the question, if you are using a windows account, then the security of that account is down to the strength of the password that you have used for that account.
