Hello everyone,
I have tried to obtain information from the Microsoft site, but without success .....
So I try to describe my problem.
I have a system composed of:
2 servers
7 workstations.
I need to install on two servers "SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition."
The workstations can communicate with each server.
What kind of license do I need for my system?
Any suggestion is appreciated.

If all you have are 7 workstations I would buy Client Access Licenses?
With this limited # of users is there any reason why you could not use SQL Server Express? I would think that it has all the features you would need especially if you go with Express w\ Advanced Services. Then you do not have to worry about licensing right now.

See http://www.microsoft.com/sql/howtobuy/licensing.mspx for Microsoft licensing options. What's the reasoning behind Standard Edition?
Also see http://www.microsoft.com/sql/editions/default.mspx for feature comparisons between SQL editions.
