What kind of Error is this- Stack OverFlow

  • I saw these errors today in my error log. What does this refer to. The ActivityIdCnt field has a Clustered Index defined on it and this table exists across 82 DB's on this server. The SPID is not active right now. I cannot monitor the Read/Write Counters right now bcos there are many application for each of the DB's running. Trying to catch the SPID if the error occurs again and will try to locate the DB against which this is run. Any one knows what is this.

I feel the query is unable to return the number of ID's that are specified here but I want to locate who is doing this.

sp_who2, sp_who or select * from sysprocesses doesnt give anything because the errors have stopped now. But still I want to know who did this, how can I?

    Thanks in Advance!!!

  • Since you're errorlog is from a SQL 2000 server it would help if you post it in the correct forum the next time.

Check this article for more info about your problem and maybe upgrading to SP4 might help as well.
