  I have Sqlserver2008.In the location :"C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Tools\Binn\VSShell\Common7\IDE"

  I have seen three files. Ssms and ssms and ssms.exe

  What is ssms (PICKS RULES Files)

  SQL Server Management Studio,type ssms in the run then this studio will open,its client or management tool for SQL Server
