Hi
Please help me out to solve my problem I encountered while installing SQL Server 2005 Enterprise from Microsoft website.
My System Configuration:
AMD Turion 64x2 TL50 (1.6GHz, 512 KB L2 cache)
1GB DDR2 RAM
Widnows - XP (SP-2) Media center
I have downloaded Sql Server 2005 Enterprise Edition trail version from Microsoft website as X64 EXECUTABLE and extracted them into a folder as advised in the website. After the download, when I tried to install it is saying "setup.exe is not a valid win 32 Application". I am unable to move forward from this point. Please help me.

I don't think ENTERPRISE EDITION can be installed on MEDIA CENTER.

I believe Enterprise is limited to servers

Actually it looks like your having two problems.
First of all you're trying to install the 64-bit version of SQL Server on a 32-bit Windows XP and second you can't install the Enterprise Edition Swerver on Windows XP (only client tools).
SO try and get the x86 Developer Edition or SQLExpress. Just because you have a 64-bit processor doesn't mean you can install 64-bit applications unless you're using a 64-bit OS as well.
