    Books Online is a wonderful resource for this kind of thing. You can access this via the SQL Server Management Studio.

    You can press F1 for regular help

    Ctrl + F1 for "How do I" help

    Ctrl + Alt + F3 to search help

    Ctrl + Alt + F1 for help contents

    Ctrl + Alt + F2 for the help index

    Or look at the options for help under the "Help" menu item.

    You can also find Books Online within the Documentation submenu within the SQL Server path from the "Start" menu.
