What is isolation level in SQL Server?

  • Hi friends,

    How are you all? Hope you all are doing well.

    I am a newbie last week i gon through an interivew. Interviewer asked me many question one qustioned was,

    What is isolation level in SQL Server?

    I was not able to give an answer. But after a some time it click in my mind its High Avilability solution like (Logshipping, mirroring, clustering), but i m not sure.

    Can anybody tell me the answer of this question.

  • I personally feel that the lmgtfy is condescending and borderline rude. It's not something I'll use except for serious repeat offenders. I think I've used it once, and I didn't feel good about it later.
