ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, usually software like Microsoft Dynamics AX provide you with ERP.
ERP as usually a managament platform, for managing the day to day activities of the business, where a data warehouse is for reporting and analytics.
While most ERP systems have some form or reporting and analytics, they sometimes are limited to what they can do as you still need to build reports, cubes off the back of the data, to which you can do it off the base data or copy it into your data warehouse which is more geared up for that type of purpose.
A would recommend a Google search for "ERP vs Data Warehouse"
