Hi,
We have SQL Server 2008 R2 box. One of the SQL backup job hang and the server taking more than 90 % of CPU usage from last 24 hours.
What happens when CPU running at 90% usage for more than 24 hours?
Thanks

You may experience degraded performance in some areas. Monitor it for slow response. You may have something that is still running causing the cpu spike. See if you can find that process.

I don't remember how the CPU load was, but I once had a scenario where the backup all of a sudden needed more than 24 hours to complete. In my scenario, the backup disk where on a disk shelf where the backup batteries was flat. If a disk shelf or a raid controller has flat batteries, write cache may be automatically disabled.
