What events could cause the Connection String on a SSRS 2008 DataSource to be blanked

  Hi there

  We had a weird event on our Reporting Services environment yesterday and this morning.

  We have a set of DataSources set up to different databases.

  One major one, had the following details altered:

  Connection String - Completely removed

  Enable this data source - Set to False

  Credentials stored securely in the report server - Changed to 'Credentials are not required'

  Other than a manual intervention, what other things could cause the credentials for a SSRS connection string to be removed

  and the SQL Server authentication to be removed?

  Restore SSRS ReportServer database can cause this.
