Dear SQL-Friends
I have a simple question and need your urget opinion
1.Can we have both the version like (2005-2008) on same machine
2.If its possible Do microsoft recommend this to have on single machine
3.Do this both the sql-Server version uses different services for each
4.If so how do DB engine reconize which service to run.
If you guys feeling problem in understanding the question let me know to clear you out .
Thanking you all in advance
Hopeing for quick reply guys...

1. Yes, you can.
2. If you have a valid business scenario for that, why not?
3. Yes.
4. There are two DB engines running at the same time. So you can have only one default instance at your server.
Need an answer? No, you need a question
