I would like to embed a font in a PDF which I am producing via Reporting Services. Must this font be loaded by my hosting company, or can I do it?
More importantly - and I would need "spoon fed" on this one if someone has the time - how can I increase the DPI for a PDF? I've seen some "solutions" and pointers talking of PDF Device Settings and Image Device Settings but I really have no idea how to implement such.
I've also seen something about RSReportServer config file but again I'm not sure if this is something I can control or it's down to my hoster.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

On the font and the config file, ask the hosting service about those. They're almost certainly in charge of those, unless you have a whole server/virtual machine of your own, that you administer all the way. (In which case, I presume you wouldn't be asking about this.)
