I thought it would be very simple one. I am building a package to import data from Access into SQL Server 2005. But I tried all possible connection managers available in my installation (I have standard edition of SQL Server), but none of them worked.

Access uses either ACE or JET engine OLE DB driver if you are having problem with it then you may be in either Windows 2003 x64 and Windows 2008 x86/x64. So check and post the specs so I can try to help you.

You need to stop the person is talking about what is technically a data driver to connect to Access not networking connection. Your posting is not related to the issue, please install Access 2003 and below and you will see the JET driver and Access 2007 comes with something called ACE. Here is a linkedserver url with all the providers listed.
