what are .dat and .tuf files

  Hi All,

  I have come across two file extensions while recovering the database with standby option

  i found .dat file

  and in another case transaction log ship has got breaked i saw .tuf

  Can any one let me know ,what are these files do..?

  the TUF file is the standby file. Do not delete it
