We have a website that needs to be available for customers 24 X 7.
There is no robust activity on the website. But there is always activity. If at all we want downtime. we can announce in the web that it is has been taken down for maintenance
My question is which type of licensing i wd choose ?
Per processor ?
Web version of SQL Server ?
Please suggest.

The general rule for SQL Server on Internet Facing sites is you need to license it with Processor licensing. But the Web Version of SQL 2008 is another option, but it is still licensed by processor.
