What constitutes a good week for you?
Finishing a week on this side of the grass is a great start. 😉
I think a week is what you make of it. I think too many people remember obstacles, arguments, and other negative things. I think I've had a good week if I can look at myself in the mirror and say "I did the best I know how and I learned how to do better on some things." That's pretty much every week regardless of the problems I may have had.

A good week is one where our business leads actually generate some work for us.

I think for me, being new to SQL, most weeks seem to be good weeks, as i'm learning new things and increasing my skill set that little bit more. 😀

When I get told the bonus is in the bag? (Yes, this week) 😉 Never going to be bad.
I think I tend to like work just to tick along gently really. No 'solution starting points' as one might put it, requiring rapid intervention. I'm happy if I can just improve my picture of how to keep structures as elegant and easily maintainable as possible. It is nice to dream up a great new cross cutting structure that makes a job simple and as fool proof as can be, or offer advice that re-energises someone else's thnking on a project, but these are not things you can achieve all the time - and I have been doing this job long enough now to instantly know how to achieve most goals set from past experience. The cherry is that little bit of clearer thinking when you just smooth the path a little more.
I guess I enjoy weeks for other stuff - kids achievements, a good time on my bike, winning all my games at squash, my team doing well. If work is totally forgettable I can definitely cope!

A good week is when the missus has put out for me... 🙂

A good week is when I've got some hair left at the end of it 🙂
But seriously, a little patience, a little learning and it's all good.

A good week is when i get unexpected gifts: I did a little website work for my brother-in-law.
(though I may have hinted about the WPF book)

I don't find my name in the obituary column. Not too many problems at work. Everybody on the home front is well.

A good week is when all issues, inside and outside of work, have been dealt with successfully.

A good week is when I fix more things than I break! 😎

From a work perspective, was I involved? Did I solve some problems? I think sometimes we forget, being non-customer facing, that we're still in the business of helping people.

Heh... That gives me a good idea for the name of a book. "WTF in T-SQL". 🙂
