Lead SQL Server DBA/Developer
Strategic Alliance Marketing is a timeshare marketing company. We operate a 70 seat outbound Call Center. We are looking for a motivated individual to support our Microsoft SQL server database needs.
Requirements:
Demonstrate experience with SQL server 2000 administration, database support, and development.
Two plus years of progressive experience administering and supporting SQL Server environments. Must have knowledge of MS SQL Server best practices.
Strong experience in database Backup, Restore and Recovery procedures.
Hands on experience with SQL Data Transformation Services.
Strong SQL programming skills, including, developing testing T-SQL stored procedures queries.
Experience in managing users and security privileges.
Experience with Visual Fox Pro.
Five plus years experience with the Microsoft platform.
Network administration experience is a plus.
Demonstrates excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
Experience analyzing, designing and developing Business Intelligence solutions.
Ability to troubleshoot and analyze problems
Ability to work with minimal direction. Self-motivated/thinker.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Maintain lead flows to call center.
Order and process new leads for call center
Develop new stored procedures and DTS packages to perform functions required by management.
Accountable for the performance, maintenance, synchronization, security, and accessibility of production database systems with demonstrated proficiency in backup and restore, performance tuning and scalability.
Deploy database objects including tables, stored procedures, views, privileges and functions with extensive use of T-SQL programming.
Troubleshoot system issues, monitor scheduled jobs and set up maintenance plans for proactively monitoring the performance of all SQL Server databases including monitoring failed and long running MS SQL Server jobs.
Compensation package includes: $60,000 per year, comprised of base pay and bonus, medical benefits, travel benefits and 401K plan.
