Is it possible to find which vmware version we are using from SQL Server or from windows?
Whn I run @@version
I received the result Microsoft SQL Server 2014 standard edition on windows NT 6.3 <64> (Build 9600) (Hypervisor)

I found it from C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware Tools\open_source_licenses.
I can see this in one server but not able to vmware version in other server.

Does the other Server have VMWare Tools installed?

Yes. I can see the folder and also when I tried to
open VMWareToolboxCmd as mentioned in the link

It is nothing doing even not opening cmd

Are you using standalone ESX or enterprise setup?
Do you have access to the virtual center database?

I don't think I have access to the virtual center database
