Visual Studio Version?

    I see there's a download to "upgrade" Visual Studio 2005 to use with Katmai, but it doesn't allow you to do certain stuff. So, my question is, is there a better or upgraded version of Visual Studio that can be used with SQL Server 2008?

    I'm installing on a new laptop to test SQL Server 2008 out, so I want to make sure I get the correct version of VS before I install. Thanks in advance for any help / advice.

    Try Visual Studio 2005 with SP2, it should work with SQL Server 2008
