Hello,
We are currently in a development phase where we are using a VS 2010 Database project to manage upgrades to SQL Server 2008 R2 database.
The upgrade process uses the VS 2010 deployment engine to identify differences between the target DB and the schema in the Database project.
I would like to include this deployment engine in our MSI so that we manage the upgrade of our databases on customer machines.
Am I allowed to do this and what are the restrictions?
Any clarifications on this point would be gratefully appreciated.
Thank you,
Anil.

Microsoft provides a runtime that can be deployed. Search on MSDN. It's there.

Ok thanks for your reply and I'll look in MSDN but if you could have have been a bit more specific that would have narrowed down the search.
Anil.
