visual management studio not in menu after sql2k5 dev edition RTM install

  hiya,

  After I install the above, the visual management studio does not appear in the menu 🙁

  I know that the was an issue with beta and sqlExpress editions.However, BEFORE I began the install, I ensured that no remnants of :

  1) sql2k5

  2) sqlExpress

  3) .net 2.0 framewrok (beta)

   were present, in accordance with MS instructions.

  Can anyone suggest a troubleshoot?

  Also, if there is a forum where this post is better placed, then I'd love to hear.

  I have managed to successfully to install it thru trial and error.All very unscientific :-0
