Virtual memory

    hi

    We are using Spot light for monitoring sql server.Its showing Virtual memory alarum.

    We have 16gb RAM. In that its showing 15gb physical memory is used and vertual memory used is 15.5 out of 18gb.

    What we need to do to reduce usage of vertual memory?

    Is sql server 32 bit or 64 bit? Whats the min and max server memory parameters setting?

    Its a SQL Server 2005 EE 64 bit. The memory settings are set to default values. We did not change the default values

    ensure you set the min and max memory to the required settings for the RAM you are using
