Hi folks,
I'm after suggestions on 'best-practices' regarding setting up the infrastructure to enable 'clients' to view SSRS reports over the internet.
My initial thoughts would be to use ReportViewer controls within an asp.net web application (with associated security controls) as per this guide https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms159272.aspx.
Have readers done similar? Any pitfalls etc.?
Have solutions involved moving 'infrastructure' to Azure thus negating the local setting up of servers etc.?
Or, moving away from SSRS and utilising PowerBi ?
Suggestions very welcome.

Have only done them with the report viewer control. No problems - managed everything on the web site including subscriptions. Anything that can be done from Report Manager can be done though the API - that's what Report Manager uses. There weren't any problems.
