  I'm looking for a query or a way out to be able to view the transactions that occurs in a database and when it occurs.

  Cant you use profiler? It will catch everything

  or maybe I did not understand your question properly

  thanks for all your replies. I was able to get it from the default trace. But, i did a restart of SQL server after the emergency occured. So, the default trace gives me info only from the restart onwards and not before that.

  Is there a way to find the transactions before that?
