Hey everyone,
I have just migrated some reports and the databases to 2014, and I am finding that moving between reports, going onto the Data Source page and opening a data source ridiculously slow. There is plenty of memory, currently the reports are using Windows Integrated Security but I do not think that has anything to do with it.
Does anyone know how to speed things up a bit? When I actually run the reports its fine, its the interface that is slow all the time.
Regards,
D.

A datasource is just a connection string so it shouldn't be this slow , how was the migration performed , detached the database and attached or redeployed all the code. Did you have any snapshots or cache enabled on the previous server that are not recreated on the new server?
Have you checked the logs for SSRS ?

Hey thanks for responding. I detached/reattached and started SSRS to migrate/restored the encryption key. There were no snapshots or cache as far as I am aware. I have just noticed that there was some paging a while back but this is no longer being reported in the SQL logs. The databases were brought across from SQL 2005 Ent SP2.
