Vertical Partitioning of the table

    Hi All,

    I run into another Transactional replication issues.

    One of the Publiishing table has 360 columns.

    How to setup vertical partitioning of this table?

    Vertical partitioning is supported by MS...

    I don't think you can use the query in while creating the publication but once the publication is created...

    Right click publication/properties/click on "Filter Columns" tab then select the only columns you want to publish...then reinitialize the publication...

    Hi Mohammed,

    Yes, I awared on this options on publications properties.

    My goals are to setup this table with 360columns into 3 different tables.

    How to divide a big table into 3 small tables before creating pulications.?
