Hi, I'm just trying to verify if I have a CTP version of SQL 2008 R2.
@@version gives me:
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (SP2) - 10.50.4000.0 (X64) Jun 28 2012 08:36:30 Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation Enterprise Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 6.1 <X64> (Build 7601: Service Pack 1)
SERVERPROPERTY('ProductLevel') gives me SP2 only.
I suspect I'm not looking in somewhere really obvious!!

If it was CTP it would say CTP in @@version.

Thanks Gail, that's what I thought.
For some reason though Idera is saying its SP2 CTP and unsupported!

Ask them how they know that.

Idera's Patch Analyzer has a link "Check for New List", which does what you'd expect on request but not automatically.
