Variable number of subreports

    Hi,

    I have to design a report that consists in an arbitrary number of subreports. In order to clarify what I'm trying to accomplish, i'll explain you what I need to do:

    I have a table with filenames and some info relating to these files. I already have a report that extracts information from that file (ie: given the name of a file, it shows some file information), but now I need to extract information from several files that matches certain condition (ie: creation date). I know I can do it with drill through subreports, but I CAN'T do it with drill throughs, so I need a way to have a variable number of subreports.

    So for each row you're brining back you need a subreport? If that's the case, can't you put each in a row of a table? Maybe some sample data would help.

    Hi There...

    I am sorry to say but I am confused with your problem statement... can you be more clear...

    the first part is clear... but the second part of what u want is not clear...read from many files etc...
