Using temp tables with linked server?

  Hi, I need a suggestion of the professionals in sql server.

  I need to make an script to data migración between diferents sql server db; change of new structure data and I using linked server and temp tables, but I'm not sure this is the best way

  to do it, first because I don't know if is a good practice keep a lot of infomation

  in a temp table.
